BCSSA is excited to return to the Simon Fraser region for the 2013 Provincial
Championships, hosted by the Simon Fraser Organizing Committee (SFOC) and BCSSA.
The meet will be held at the City Centre Aquatic Complex and Spani Outdoor Pool
in Coquitlam, BC.
We hope that the information provided on this page, will give athletes and
their families useful information about Coquitlam and the Provincial Championship
Venue.
BCSSA is making an effort to reduce our waste at the
Provincial Championships. We ask that deck officials and volunteers bring a
Coffee Mug and/or a Reusable Water Bottle as we want to reduce the amount of
Styrofoam cups and disposable water bottles we use. Thank-You!

Competition Venues
City Centre Aquatic Complex
The City Centre Aquatic Complex is located in Coquitlam at 1210 Pinetree Way,
Coquitlam, BC. The pool will host the Water Polo, Diving & Synchronized Swimming
competitions of the BCSSA Provincial Championship.
There will be an on-site concession available for all attendees, spectators
and officials. A map is available, as well as, detailed driving directions at

Spani Outdoor Pool, Mundy Park
The Spani Outdoor Pool is located in Coquitlam at 655
Hillcrest Street, Coquitlam, BC. The pool will host the Speed Swimming
competitions of the BCSSA Provincial Championship.
There will be an on-site snack concession, as well as, a
concession serving breakfast and lunch for all attendees, spectators and
officials. The venue site plan can be viewed by clicking on the link on the left
side of this page.
Day Parking
City Centre Aquatic Complex
There is parking available in the main and surrounding parking lots at the
City Centre Aquatic Complex. Please obey all City of Coquitlam parking
regulations.
Spani Outdoor Pool, Mundy Park
There is plenty of parking in the surround areas of Spani Pool, however the
lot at the pool will be blocked off to day parking and traffic. This lot is
reserved for RV Parking, Vendors and the Concession staging area. Hillcrest
Middle School, which is beside Mundy Park will be dedicated to day parking in
their main parking lot and also on their gravel field. Parking attendants will
be available to offer directions and please obey both temporary signs specific
to the BCSSA event, and also all City of Coquiltam parking regulations.
There will be no "drop-off zone" in front of the pool at
any time due to traffic congestion and safety reasons.
Below is a Google map of the location of Hillcrest Middle School. Spani Pool
is just below the school in Mundy Park. Access to the pool is by way of a short
trail, which will be clearly marked during Provincials.

RV Parking & Reservations
Those who wish to bring their RV to the Provincial Championships will need to
make a reservation online and pay the associated fees. All reservations will be
done online. The BCSSA Office will be administering permits and answering
reservation questions. Please click here for more

Accommodations
Coquitlam and the surrounding areas have many types of accommodations available
for swimmers and their families.
BCSSA has negotiated special rates for the event and families or clubs are asked
to look into staying at one of the preferred host hotels, as they are supporting
the event through sponsorship back to the event.

BCSSA Annual General Meeting
Any BCSSA member is welcome to attend the AGM, however a club only
has one vote.
