As the government cuts back significantly in their contributions to sport, it
is increasingly necessary that BCSSA seek new sources of revenue, Indeed, the
primary issue facing the Administration of Swimming in BC is the rising cost of
participation. BCSSA recognizes the need to develop new 'non-traditional'
sources of funding designed to both enhance BCSSA's revenue but also, to provide
enhanced programming to our membership.
An overview of Corporate involvement in BCSSA is outlined below. The
nurturing and development of each relationship is an on-going project. BCSSA
cannot state or emphasize with enough strength how critical it is for each
member club to participate with BCSSA in all our corporate partnerships. Please
note that Sponsors directly associated with the annual Provincial Championships
are not listed here and can be found on the
"Provincials" page.

Speedo Canada
In partnership with Speedo & Team Aquatic Supplies we are proud to announce
the new 2012 & 2013 partnership between BCSSA and Speedo. This partnership is
not like any other partnership BCSSA currently has with other organizations.
This partnership is for our athletes, coaches and clubs. There are 3 programs
within this partnership...
Speedo Provincial Record Breaker Program
Swimmers and relay teams that break a Provincial Record will be
recognized at the meet during the award ceremony with a Speedo Record Breaker
Prize Package valued at $100.00. Members or relay teams will receive individual
prizes valued at $25.00 each.
Speedo Coach of the Year Prize Package
A BCSSA coach will be selected based on a certain criteria,
which will be published in the "About" section of the website. The coach will
receive a prize package valued at $250.00.
Speedo Clubs Prize Package Draw
At the BCSSA Provincial Championships all BCSSA member clubs
will be entered into a draw and will have a chance to win 1 of 3 gift
certificates to Team Aquatic Supplies, valued at $1000.00 each, for purchases on
