The 2012 BCSSA Coaches Conference, "The Final Countdown," just like all of our
past conferences will focus on developing athletes with strong technical skills,
working towards a goal for achieving a best time or qualifying for the
Provincial Championships. Coaches will hear from knowledgeable speakers in
competitive aquatics discussing new stroke techniques, innovative training methods
and most importantly, building a fun and successful swim club. Organized by the BCSSA
Coaching Committee, this year's conference will be in Richmond on April 28th and
29th. We hope that all regions and clubs in the BCSSA will be able to send
coaches to the conference to support the growth and development of coaching in
the BCSSA.
This is one opportunity for coaches to participate in professional
development in the 2012 season. This year's conference will be split into Junior
and Senior streams for Swimming, with topics being relevant and interesting for
coaches of any age group or experience level.
